About Gusto: [Taste]

Gusto is co-owned by Daniele Oliva and Jonathan Berry.

Daniele, originally from Valle d’Aosta in Northern Italy, is the head chef of Gusto.

Jonathan from Petersfield has been travelling to the Valle d’Aosta ski region of Italy for many years sampling and experiencing the local cuisine that comes second nature for Daniele to prepare.

You will find Daniele in the kitchen at Gusto and Jonathan oversees the restaurant of an evening. Claire, Daniele’s girlfriend can be found in the restaurant on weekdays.

Jonathan, who has many years expertise in owning and running bars and restaurants, and Daniele have together created the menu to be a mix of pizza, pasta and traditional northern Italian cuisine and run Gusto as a traditional Italian pizzeria/restaurant like you would find in Italy!

With four boys under five between Jonathan and Daniele, they completely understand and know first hand the importance of eating out with children and therefore strive to make Gusto a family friendly environment that you will want to come back to.

Everyday Daniele freshly prepares the pizza dough to create authentic pizzas the Italian way! With fresh produce he single-handedly preprares the menu alongside daily specials, bringing a little piece of Italy to your table.
